The school and the Parents' Club have a few ways of keeping you informed:

• Wednesday envelope: Dig into your child's backpack on Wednesdays for the Wednesday envelope, which contains all kind of useful information. Be sure to initial the envelope and send it back with your child the next day.
• Bulletin boards: Look at the bulletin boards in the school lobby. We have a community board just inside the door to the right. The PCO board is just outside the cafeteria. Find calendars and latest meeting information on the right-hand wall just before turning toward the auditorium.
• Visit sloatparents.org!
• Yahoo group, SloatNotes: Subscribe to our Yahoo Listserv mailing list, a discussion group and forum for Sloat parents where you can read news, get reminders, post questions, etc. Go to groups.yahoo.com, log on if you have a Yahoo e-mail account. If not, create one (easy and free). Then search for the group SloatNotes (all one word). Then just click "Join this group."
